I would go with Clapton. Have you thought about John Lennon sone "Woman?"

Depends on the mood of your wedding.

If all the other songs you have playing are soft ballads like Eric Clapton's song then it would probably go better with the existing mood of your wedding. If your songs are all more energetic then go with Greenday - "Time of Your Life" (and I would use that title on any programs because the song is better known that way and the term "Good Riddance" has more negative connotations).

Ultimately, your wedding party and your wedding can control the mood to use either song. My vote would probably go to Greenday because "Wonderful Tonight" only speaks to 2 people in the song and "Time of Your Life" speaks to more. Also "Time of Your Life" is a little bit longer, "Wonderful Tonight" seems a bit short for a wedding party song. But you may want it to be short so everyone else can get out on the dance floor.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be great.

Definitely Eric Clapton. One of my favorite wedding reception songs!

I agree with everyone else; traditionally, one would immediately chose Eric Clapton, since we're talking about a wedding, but what we're not aware of is the personality of the couple, the theme of wedding and if this is "The wedding dance song" the bride and groom will honor as their first dance, in that case then they should really go for their favorite song, and forget about what anyone might say, it is their wedding after all, and everything that day revolves around them no matter what people think; worst case, play both! ^_^

Best of luck!
