Bottom line, it all depends on how much you drink and if you ate prior to going out. I drink both together frequently, but it's only when you overdo it that you end up sick. Also, some people have the tendency to get a hangover from dark liquors moreso than clear liquors...like vodka, etc. It won't take you long to find your limits, so start slow and have someone ther to drive you home if you get too smashed. Try to eat a few hours before you go out, don't eat JUST before drinking and try never to drink on an empty stomach.

Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. This is true for both me and my husband. Here's a another tip: The day after a bought of drinking, if you're really thirsty and nothing will help, drink Gatorade or some other kind of sports drink. It will help, I promise. Also, take some vitamins the night before with your headache medicine.

Those old sayings are not true, I assure you. If you mix alcohol then you are going to get sick if your body doesn't react well to the mixtures of alcohol.

If you have to ask you should stick to one or the other. Don't mix them or you will get sick. Season yourself befor you go mixing the two. Go easy at that.

That's not true. You'll still get sick depending on how well your body functions. Just remember not to drink too much! ;)
