Hibiscus! They are very beautiful and native of Hawaii... meaning they should be very readily available and inexpensive. I would talk to a florist in the area about what is in season in Hawaii during that time of year.

Hydrangeas. Blue or pink. One bloom stalk is usually so big that one would suffice for a bouquet and you can tie ribbons and lace hanging down from the stalk to dress it up. They turn out beautiful and add a lot of color. You could even use silk hydrangeas.
