So...... Once you have went to the altar and been "saved" does that mean that you are always saved? No matter what you do in life you will still go to heaven? If so, then even rapsit, child molesters, murderers, thieves, and everyone in between will go to heaven as long as they have been saved?
THIS IS TRULY A ???? I WANT TO KNOW WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK. I AM NOT JUDGING ANYONE.

Hi, The Bible says "Saved till the day of salvation", which is when its your time to meet God. so you better stay SAVED till then if you expect to go to Heaven and see God. Anyone who is in Gods will when they die will meet Him. ANYONE, anyone who has TRUELY seeked out Forgiveness, and God knew they were truely wanting a heart change will be saved BUT, you fall out of Gods will and your hell bound (Commit sin on propose.) See God Knows your heart, he know what you really fell and desire, He know the INTENT of your heart. So he knows what in your heart at all times, is there any jelousy hatred evil mean thoughts, He knows! Not just when you have that religous exsperience at some church altar, salvation is a life long commitment to God to obey and trust Him through faith in his word (the Bible) .

It depends on what you call 'saved'. Some people see 'getting saved' as repeating some prayer and going on your merry way. That's not true. You repent (literally means to turn around) of your sins, ask for forgiveness, and follow God. God can see the inward motives and thoughts of a person so he knows if someone is truly seeking forgiveness and wanting to follow after Him. We can't tell. Therefore people assume a person is saved after they've cried and dripped snot all over the altar. The Bible says you know a tree by its fruits. So to tell if a person is truly saved, pay attention to what they're serving with their time, money and passions. If it's God, then they're probably saved. There is a passage in the Bible that says that 'No man can snatch you from my (God's) hand.' So if you're TRULY saved, then I don't think you can lose it. You may and probably will slip up from time to time, but God will drag your butt back to Him. The problem is that people just can't 100% tell if someone else is saved or just got out a good cry. All you can be sure of is yourself. Are you saved?

Honey u can be saved and if ur save does not mean u will remain saved- u can backslide and by back sliding u have to go to God once more! Next all the rapist, child molesters etc they all are going to pay for what they did before they die! Everyone who sins pay for their sins before they die depends on how bad it is e.g. if u have killed someone- u will lose the closes 2-3 persons or more towards u! So they wont go to heaven unless they confess for their sins and pay for them and live how the Lord want them to live! and it is not a***** u just have to understand it.

Once getting saved, we are called to live for the Lord. No we can't get saved and go killing, raping, murdering, this is not being saved. Someone who does these things is not saved, as when you get saved you receive the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit would not have you behave this way.
Anyone who is truly saved will walk as Jesus did, in love, peace, and kindness. These are the fruits of the spirit. Anger, hatred, murder, these are all of the unsaved nature.
When you get saved, it is from your heart, and only you and the Lord know what is really going on. If someone calls on the Lord from their heart they will be saved.

That is only the beginning. From there you must go forth and sin no more. You must do things in a Christ like manner. Care for others. Live the life you have agree to in asking to be saved. Being saved is an agreement between Christ and the one asking to be saved. Therefore you must live up to this agreement.

Just because you went to the altar and supposedly were saved you also have to live the Christian life and prove to Jesus you are worthy of heaven. Alot of people go to the altar and profess their sins and believe they are saved but you have to totally give your life to the Lord and cast out all sins.

No. The Bible says to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling". A person is saved and will go to heaven simply by believing in Jesus Christ and accepting His gift of salvation. If that person were to die seconds after that, he would go to heaven. If that person were to live, he must live for God. He must "work out" his walk and relationship with God.

There are more than a few verses that back this up. One says that a man who has put his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom. One says it is not possible to crucify Jesus again, so purposeful, ongoing sin will grant you eternal separation from God.

Rapists and murderers CAN go to heaven. . .IF they are saved. . .AND TURN FROM SIN. They can't continue in those ways or they condemn themselves.

When you are saved, your past sins are forgiven and you have a place in heaven. But you truly have to want to be saved, and actively choose to follow Christ. If you are going through the motions, or if you turn your back on God by continuing to commit evil acts, you chose not to follow in Christ's footsteps and you're gonna burn.

The only people getting into Heaven are born again Christians. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your savior, ask for forgiveness and walk your path with Jesus, you have nothing to fear. BTW, judge not for you will be judge with the same measure you judge.

Try not and worry about who you are spending eternity with...just concentrate on your walk with the Lord. He will take care of the rest.

Grace to you and God Bless!
