The average North American woodchuck , in good health, and given an adequate amount of lumber to chuck from will chuck 1.5 cords per 24 hour period. One interesting point regarding the N.American woodchuck, versus the Southern blues and the European varieties is the N. American is the only woodchuck whom after using as much lumber for it's residence, approx. 3 cords, will peel and stack any additional wood that it drops.
