There will never be peace in the middle east. Not in the next 5 years, not after the US leaves, probably not even after Israel or Palestine take each other out. Unlike us westerners who don't take religion quite as seriously, the easterners fight holy wars over the most petty things.

Sure there can just ask Santa for it for X-mas.
What I meant was that the problems that have been going on over there have been going on for centuries. Its not a quick fix. Yes, peace would be a nice however, it can't be forced. That never works. For lack of a better example its like having a friend who has drug or (and) liqueur problems. If you make them go to rehab before they are ready to go they will always relapse.
I do thank you for responding to my question and that was helpful advice. One of the issues is his mother because is a terrible enabler. Everything is "Bobby can't" and then fill in the blanks with whatever you want.
As far as the middle east goes I would love for some peace agreements to be made if for my own selfish reason to be able to dig at the ancient civilizations that are buried under their deserts. The bulk of the ancient world is there in between Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

This is a long ask, for many years and in time dot the Middle East have always lived this way, killings, wars, crimes to survive, men being superior to women, guns and weapons of all kind, its like trying to change Leopard's spot you just cannot.
I can only see peace for those who move out of the Middle East and live in a peaceful country. Raising the new and younger generation within a multicultural peaceful law abided civilisation.
I cannot see the Middle East changing for the better alot of decent people have lost their lives this is a country that does not want PEACE they don't like this word or don't know or understand the meaning. It is a shame in those countries there is alot of sadness, hatred, greed, power and destruction they don't even care about their own lives and their families lives and no God would ever agree to this not even theirs.
This is going to be very costly to all around the nation and instead of them hurting their own they will find reasons to hurt anyone around the nation (World Wide) because we care about them and trying to help them change for the better. I feel so sad for those who wants our help and want the change to introduce "PEACE" they and us are suffering. Starting this has only made it worse for all of us we cannot travel safely like we all use to and go on holidays because it now has created TERRORISTS and they are using our countries for training and carrying out these acts of violence and devastation. PEACE AND HARMONY is out of their dictionery sad but true.

Yes. Here are the simple steps.
(1) Recognize that Jerusalem is the holiest, most important international city for all humanity. Therefore no single religion or state should be allowed to claim it like some magic goose. Instead make it an international city, with seat on UN for everyone.
http://one-jerusalem.org
(2) Reform the Organisation of Islamic States and abolish the Arab league and replace both with the Arabian Union with a seat on the UN and a proper charter of human rights and common market.
http://arabian-union.org
(3) Give Islam a central internation body of people who are the holiest and wisest through democratic election. Make sure it also has a seat on the UN like the vatican does.

Cheers

there never has been what makes anyone believe that just because us Americans are involved now somehow means there disputes are going 2 be settled and there way of life is going 2 be different.People have been the way they are 4 hundreds of years. The united states cannot solve the worlds problems,we should first concentrate on the homeless, jobless, poverty stricken people here in the united states.we may be the best damn country ever but we still have our problems. We need 2 take care of home first before we have no home left worth coming back 2.**** people r being killed in alarming rates in the united states due to gang violence, teen violence, drugs,n frankly no control of themselves.Terrorism 2 me is that 15 year old kid with a gun who thinks he needs money so badly that he would rather rob someone than 2 earn it at a low paying job that doesn't cover their expenses.

I've done a lot of research on this issue over the years and I don't think it will be resolved in our lifetime. It hard to give peole that have been fighting each other for hundred, maybe even thousands, or years to concentrate on anything other than hate. But through education and diplomacy, eventually it could happen.

There's not even peace in Europe (Northern Ireland, Balkans, French riots), and you're asking if history's most volitile region will be peaceful in 5 years? HA! Not in 50!

Absolutely no way. There is too much hate and intolerance, and too many different people with too many different beliefs who want too many different things.
