Yes, in many cases. When you don't eat, your body gets tricked into thinking it needs to store up. Think cute little squirrels or something right before winter. Being a mammal, when you then eat, your body stores all the calories it can as fat. The only way you could really lose weight by not eating is to starve yourself near death or fast.

No but it will make you sick and weak. Some people say that when you dont' eat your body actually stores more fat to use later on. I guess if you don't eat long enough that's when it starts burning the fat that is stored.

yes not eating will make you fat because your body goes into starvation mode and your metabolism slows down so every thing you eat gets stored resulting in a build up of fat its better to eat 6 small meals throughout the day

Yes.

Many people dont know this but every fat cell your body creates never goes away. When you loose weight your fat cells are "Drained Out". Think of each cell as its own living organism. If you start to starve your cells they will require even more energy the next time you need nurishment. After you eventually give in to the hunger your fat cells fill out again and sometimes overfill and hence the weight gain. Moreover, when you start to starve yourself your body kicks in its survival mechanism and trys to preserves its fat cells at all costs.
Fat ultimately = energy.

Yes not eating makes you body believe you are starving. So when you do eat your body will store up the fat for later instead of burning it up. If you eat lots(4 to5) of small meals (Less than a handful) Your body will burn it faster to make room for more.

While you're not eating, no. However, once you start eating again, your body will try to hold onto as many calories as possible and most likely you will gain all the weight you lost, plus some, as a result.

For a while. Your body says "I'm being starved!" So, it goes into slow mo. It gives you less energy because it is preserving all of its carbohydrates. You gain weight because your body is no longer burning off those carbs. Then your body eats away the extra carbs that are backed up and your stomach slowly itself alive.

not eating is the quickest way to lose weight but when you start eating regularly again, which you will you'll gain more weight and faster and you will weigh more then you did before you started dieting. I dont suggest that to anyone to diet that way.
