Jehovah is his real name ( the most holiest) but there are many names for God. It depends on the attribute being spoken of.
Other than reading the bible it is very hard to get one to believe that Jesus is God. But there is a term called Triune God. It means three in one. God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. God the father talked of his son coming and God the son (Jesus) spoke about the coming of the Holy Spirit. And Yes the Holy Spirit is a He, not an it!! He is the spirit of God...

In the sister religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, there are variants in what God is called. In Judaism, the name of God is considered Yahweh, and Islam it's Allah no matter the native language of the worshiper. The translatable word and name "God" is only found in Christianity.(Example, in France, Christians don't say God, the say Dieu, meanwhile French Muslims say Allah, the name is not translated)
As for Jesus being the son of God, there's some disagreements among the three. Jews consider Christ was just a prophet. Muslims go a bit further, saying that Jesus was indeed born of the Virgin Mary, divinely plan by God, but they consider him a divine prophet, not the son of God. Muslims believe God could cause an immaculate birth, but that didn't really qualify the child as the son of God. He's considered the second of the three main prophets: Moses, Jesus Christ and Muhammad.
And of course Christians believe Christ the son of God, but they're the only ones of the three sister religions. Personally, I say that if we're all worshiping the same God (Which all three do) there's no need to bicker.

God has different names, too many for me to list here and with meaning behind each name. For example: I AM, which he tells Moses.
Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth in the form of a man to die for our sins. Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit make up the Holy Trinity.

God has many names: Jehovah, YHWH, Adonai, Abba, The Ancient of Days, Jeshua, Elohim, El Shaddai, and many others.
None of these are more personal than Abba - Father.
This means "Daddy". A name reserved for God's Children.

I'll catch the first part of that question. God's real name is: "I AM"
And Moses said: "and when the people ask, who shall I say sent me? And the Lord answered, "So that the people will know I AM, tell them, I AM sent me"
Explaining the second part of that question would take a long, long, time.

God is simply a convenient and commonly known term for the formless, genderless, eternal source energy of life.
It doesn't matter what you call it. Call it love, call it life, call it Jennifer, it makes no difference, and doesn't change the reality of it.
We are all perfect expressions and individuations of God. Together we are the sum (son) of God, as was Jesus, who had perfect faith in God.
