No christians sin no less or no more than any one else. A sin is a sin, some seem worse than others, but there are different types of sin.stealing, lying, cheating etc. . But in Gods eyes we all sin every day and need to ask for forgiveness. Just because we are christians make us no better than any one else. The only difference is that we are saved through grace, and our sins are forgiven, but we as christians sin daily to. We are not perfect, and need to ask forgiveness daily.

We should sin less. When we love the Lord we want Him to make us into what He wants us to be, and that is like Him. The more we get to know Him the more we love Him, the more we love Him, the more we want to please Him, and His ways are right and true. He is all light and in Him is no darkness at all. We become more and more like Him if we are walking with Him. We who truly are Christians do try to do the right things, and not actions that will hurt other people.
Another reason we sin less is because we have His Holy Spirit living in us, and working through us. The Holy Spirit gives us power to live the right way, to overcome temptations, for wisdom, for all that we need. When we do sin, we can go before the Father and ask forgiveness and He gives it freely.

Absolutely! I've lived a long time and intermingeled with both Christians and non Christians and there is no comparison either in the amount of sin or the degree of sin. The first thing a new Christian becomes aware of is how sensitive his conscience is. God doesn't let us get away with the things the world does.

Sin does not exist without knowledge of good and evil. This is why Adam did not commit sin when he partook of the forbidden fruit, since it wasn't until after he partook that he gained such knowledge. Committing a wrongdoing without knowing it to be a sin is called transgression. This is why babies cannot sin and have no need of baptism - they are pure and innocent before God and are not accountable because they do not yet have an understanding of right and wrong. So to answer the question, it is likely that Christians actually sin more, since they should have a greater understanding of what God expects from them, and are therefore more accountable to Him for their actions.

All have sin and fall short of the glory of God the difference is that Christians are redeemed I wish I could say that Christians are likely to do small sins but in the perfect eyes of the creator there is no small sin only sin

No, and if you look at history you will see that Christians have probably sinned more. I would know since I am a History major. I can't tell you how much Christians have killed people in the name of God. Not that other religions have been perfect, but everyone assumes Christians are morally superior when history and even today's events have proven otherwise.

I don't know that they necessary sin LESS, though that might be the case as they have more guidelines that they presumably live by and want to adhere to.

However, it's not a matter of who sins less or more because all people sin, even really good people with great hearts and souls. It's a matter of repenting for your actions and being faithfully sorry for what has happened and striving to improve and build upon the experience.

I don't think that your religion makes you sin less, it is how strong you follow and your conviction in it. In my opinion I think some Christians sin more, statistically that is, there are more Christians that don't actually follow the faith and that is mainly because in America there are more Christians. and Christianity make up a larger part of all religions (IE. Catholic, Mormon, Baptist and etc). I however notice that some of the holiest people sin the most mainly because they tend to judge others more in belief that they know what is sin. In all actuality judging other is a sin for only he can judge

Goodness, no! They only claim to. What really happens is that when they sin, they do a quick prayer to "ask forgiveness," and then consider it all good from there. They think their consciences are clean. They're not, though. Actions have consequences.

Besides, sin is a societal concept. I really doubt an all-powerful god would care about whether or not we're doing what we're designed to do, which is find the best in the gene pool and try to make as many babies as possible. (Not that I believe in over-population, it's just what our bodies want us to do. I think it'd be great if we stuck to a 1:2 ratio, one child for every two parents.)

Technically they should really sin less. This is because they
are a new creation(born again, born anew, or born from above).
The good news is not only that they should sin less but are they no
longer subject to the law of sin and death. They are now
subject to the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8;2, The Law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has
made me free from the law of sin and death. But if we do sin
God has graciously provided 1 John 1;9, If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!
