Yes, and you can also have unprotected sex right after your period and GET pregnant. It is possible to get pregnant at any and all times during your cycle, even while on your period and breastfeeding. I heard on the news a few years back about a woman who got pregnant WHILE she was pregnant. I think she had 2 c-sections like 4 months apart. That's a new kind of pain right there.

People say you can get pregnant at any time. But the technical answer is this...you can only get pregnant when you're ovulating. Usually it's 10 days after the 1st day of your last period then 5 days after that. But because not everybody's regular its hard to tell. Your best bet is not to have unprotected sex.

Unprotected sex is not good in any case... just cause you have a period doesn';t give you any reason not to use protection... If you are not trying to have a baby... or have no intentions of getting preg. anythime soon,, then i would suggest that you use protection all the time... if your mate refuses... then depending on your age.. you may want to find away to protect yourself... like a certain type of birthcontrol... there is alot out there... But untill you make a decision... i would refrain from any sexual activity all together..

Yes, if you practice FAM (Fertility Awareness Method). It requires you to monitor your daily temperature, cervical fluid, and cervical mucus. In my cycle, I can have unprotected sex for the first 10 days of my cycle with out getting pregnant.
I highly suggest reading the book " Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler.

It is possible, but technically, you can get pregnant any time of the month. If you don't believe me, read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. However, that being said it is highly unlikely that you would get pregnant then.

YES. As far as I can see, if you don't know the basics about your body and conception, you shouldn't be having sex! Being informed is the first sign of maturity. Protect yourself EVERYTIME regardless. There are worse things to get than a baby.............

Even though it is less likely, you can still get pregnant. Why chance it, use protection...either way, you still need protection from STDs.
