That is such an old wive's tale! No. Your hair will not get any thicker, longer or darker.
Hair growth, colour, pattern and length are determined my genetics. Not by a razor.
I have shaved my arms for years. The hair grows back at the same colour, thickness and length. Every time.

If you shave your arms your hair will grow in thicker, it's like shaving you underarms or facial hair. when you shave those you are just cutting of the shaft of the hair and it will cont. to grow from that point and will look darker and thicker. An alternative is to buy a sensitive bleach for the body or even facial bleach would be a better choice.

It really depends on you - and your hair. I have 2 firends that have shaved their arms - with very different results. One her hair grews back as normal ( let me also add that her legs are the same way- fine and thin hair just like the wonderful days before shaving) They other hair grew back very dark and alot thicker. I know I would not do it. 1.) Fear of it being black and think ( I have dark hari to begin with) 2.) I don't have that much hair on my arms anyway.

Shaving the hair on your arms won't get thicker, if it's fine to begin with. Most womens' hair on thier arms is known as vellus hair, very fine, very light in pigment. Shaving won't change that. Waxing will just cost you. Shaving won't make it grow faster. Unless it's dark and coarse, the only one it bothers is you. I know, i shave mine, and I hear it all of the time! People think i'm retarded, but it bothers ME! So, if its light, shave away to make YOU feel better.

It does get thicker. Your best bet is to wax keeps the hair the same and it's less hassle in the long run.

It sort of depends. I did that one time to see what would happen and all the lighter hairs got darker and a little thicker.

it grows back thicker and darker. that one girl is stupid. shaving your arms is bad. it could make them like itchy too if you're not used to it. i suggest not doing it. i mean, if you want to shave your arms EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, go ahead and do it.

Once you start shaving your arms, it may very well come back thicker and/or blacker. Once you start you may need to go for a waxing regularly. I wouldn't reccomend it.
