No. However during the prohibition Giner Ale type drinks were served to offer the same effects as alcohol, minus the alcohol. Armand Hammer the former CEO of Occidental Petroleum mades ALOT of money manufactoring the drink. But nowadays, it does not work. just plaint old ginger ale pop, no woozy affect.

No but ginger beer can. When you make home made ginger beer, you have to ferment yeast and ginger, therefore it is abit alcholic, i think about 2 % or some thing.
But the ginger beer you buy in the shops is not alcholic. They brew it a bit different.

Not unless you add it. And most US Ginger Ale doesn't even have ginger in it (Hansen's and a few other brands do), so you can't even benefit from it's medicinal purposed either. : (

nope. you can approximate ginger ale by filling the glass with lemon-lime (sprite, 7up, etc), and adding a splash of cola.
