i asked a guy to hang out as friends gave him my phone number and he turned me down.?
and then i find out he has a second job. don't i feel stupid for being upset because he couldn't go do anything with me. he doesn't know this upset me. i told him that it was ok, and it was no problem. well he has my phone number and well he comes up to me and is so much more friendly and talkative and makes an effort to talk to me or email me or instant messenger. so is he too busy or what? i know i value his friendship. but at the same time i am still so attracted to him and i want more.

Well even though he turned you down it still does seem like he is into you, if he wasn't he definitely wouldn't have talked to you afterwards he would have tryed to avoid you. But you did say just as friends so just slow down and get to know him and if he likes you he will let you know. Just let thangs happen.

He sounds like he is trying to get some cash for the future. Be patient with him. He didnt turn you down. He does talk to you and stuff. I bet he wishes that he didnt have that second job. He sounds like a good guy. You just have to be patient and wait for a little while. Good things will happen. talk to him. dont pry but see if he will tell you why he has two jobs. It might be a very important reason to him. Be a good friend. He will never forget that.

Come on Texan, by the way I am in Texas too. Everybody has days off from work. If he wanted, he could arrange something. I would just be cool and don't push the issue. If he wants to go out, he'll let you know. He already knows you are interested. Don't be available to much and I bet he will ask you out.

Yes you ask him to be your friend. try asking him out for a date instead. It is ladies who think that you must start off as friends. ask most guys that question and they Will not get in trouble if they answer, they will tell you they are not trying to be a woman's friend and hang out with her.
