Nobody knows every word in any language, and not every Japanese word has an English equivalent.

There's a lot more to Japanese than just vocabulary, and I imagine you'll get bored with it very quickly if you insist on trying to learn it this way. But if that's what you want, and you can't use learning websites for some reason, the only thing that comes close to meeting your requirements is for you to go out and buy a Japanese - English dictionary and try to memorize it. I guarantee that's not going to be much fun, though.

If you actually want to learn the language and not just memorize a bunch of words, go find a nice textbook/workbook set at your local college bookstore or go find something like Japanese for Busy People and study that.

I doubt it. I have a group thing to learn Japanese. Please join it so that I can see how it works. Because so far it is only me and I don't know how to teach me. I will email that to your hotmail add. I spent about 3 years in Japan and then started again here when I first got back then stopped and started up again some years later. So, I have a fair vocabulary I can speak and write. But, I am far from fluent. I taught it as a student teacher and again I taught English to Japanese speakers.

you can borrow audio tapes/cd's from the library (or buy them) and listen to them (and repeat after them) etc. whenever you have time (such as when you're driving to work, or, instead of listening to music, listen to the sound files).
I recommend "Pimsleur's Japanese Level 1"

There isn't really a really easy way. you still have to learn the same information, it's just how you go about it.

what i think is... first, you should get familiar with the language (cadence of the language).
-learn where one word starts and where one word ends in a sentence. you don't even have to understand what it means. I recommend learning/memorizing some basic verbs, nouns, adverbs, grammar structure etc. first. Then listening/watching lots of japanese music, movies, dramas, animes, etc. (spoken in japanese, with english subtitles etc.)

-learn how their writing system goes. ie. hiragana and it's romanji equivalent. get familiar with what types of sounds go together and how the characters/letters combine together to form a word

-memorizing more vocabulary

-taking classes and staying in Japan.
-make some japanese friends :P

Vocabulary can come from any japanese-english dictionaries (just be aware that verbs, have different forms in a sentence and when you just see it in the dictionary).

Here's your first lesson.

"Watashi wa Infinite-pheonix-downs desu. Doozo Yoroshiku"
I am Infinite-Pheonix-downs. Nice to meet you*

"Watashi" is the general form of "I"
"wa" doesn't have a specific english meaning. it is used to indicate the topic of the sentence
"Infinite-Pheonix-Downs" is my name. Substitute with your own...
"desu" is the verb "to be"
"Doozo Yoroshiku" doesn't have an exact english meaning either. Technically, it means "please take care of the relations between us" but can be taken as the english "nice to meet you"

hope this helps :)

and good luck

PS. "konnichi wa" => Hello during afternoon hours
"choto mate" is actually spelled "chotto matte"

Konichiwa means hello. Sorry, that's all I know. Besides, I'm Indian (as in from the country India), not Japanese!
