Sorry, we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st. But I like Hamburgers better than hot dogs so the burgers get my vote.
Oh by the way, we do enjoy going to the St. Clair River across from Marine City, Mich. on July 4th to watch the fireworks! They are really pretty!

Well, you might get Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (mad cow disease) from the burgers, but it can have a gestation period of up to 30 years so if you're getting up there, in your 50s or 60s for example, I'd go with the burgers.
Hot dogs have been linked to leukemia and what they're filled with is any ones guess. But since leukemia doesn't have a gestation period per say, and only one night of hot dog eating hasn't been established as a risk for the disease, I'd go with the hot dogs for the kids, and burgers for the older folks.

hamburger's yum yum i can't stand hot dog has to be the worst food man has ever created but u could always fix them both that way u will have more food to go around

I will make both. The younger kids prefer a hot dog & the older want burgers so I do both. It isn't anymore trouble & everyone is happy.

i prefer burgers - more flavour and substance... but a lot of kids prefer hot dogs so depends who will be there. or do both to be safe!
