In the current state of the Earth,why do countries need to have wars?Why can we all not just learn to live together as one race...the race of human beings and not as wild animals out for blood?

In the real world there are things called strategic resources which countries desperately need, they are willing to fight for them. Also, religion makes people hate each other. ect. It's not realistic that war will go away any time soon.

Several reasons for war in the modern world as I see it:

Ethnic Tensions, based on ethnicity, race or religion.

Inequitable distribution of resources - "you've got more *whatever* than us, we want it so we'll take it!"

The profitability of drug running and arms dealings.

The poverty levels of the third world make people desperate, and contribute to the above 3 factors.

There is no NEED for war ... some countries seem to be more belligerent than others though ... take the U.S. for example ....

This world is run by men. We have wars, b'cuz men want to be rulers and they are willing to do whatever it takes to rule.
