They have earned their right, I agree with them as war is not good for living things. To much collateral damage done in times of war. Something most Americans do not even know about. As the wars have always been over there.

Who has more credibility than the people who have actually been there? W? Cheney? Condi? Negative.
The people who have served have fought for the right to have their opinion no matter what it is. I am a veteran and work for a veterans organization. I am not a combat veteran, but believe these men and women who've served in Iraq, Vietnam, WWII, and everything in between, are heros. And what have they fought to defend? Our right to have an opinion (among other things).

Can you say "sellout"? I'm an Iraq Veteran and believe, regardless of your political opintion, you need to support the troops and other vets. When I was over there it was really disturbing to see the protestors. I wonder how many of these veterans are actually war veterans.

"When people speak to you about a preventive war, you tell them to go and fight it. After my experience, I have come to hate war. War settles nothing." ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower
""There is no glory in battle worth the blood it costs."
--Dwight D. Eisenhower
"We will bankrupt ourselves in the vain search for absolute security."
--Dwight D. Eisenhower
"I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity."
--Dwight D. Eisenhower
Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear -- kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor -- with the cry of grave national emergency ... Always there has been some terrible evil to gobble us up if we did not blindly rally behind it by furnishing the exorbitant sums demanded. Yet, in retrospect, these disasters seem never to have happened, seem never to have been quite real.
~ General Douglas MacArthur, 1957

I think they are entitled to their opinionas everyone is but a wise man once said "it is only the dead who have seen the end of war" and unfortunately there will always be fighting in the world.

Seen it all before when I was younger -- like during 'Nam.
I think Senator Kerry was a charter member.
They have the right to their opinions. I disagree with them, but that is my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions -- they're like rectums: everyobody's got one, and they all stink.

I regard them as a very small minority who get all the news because they say things you want to hear.
Why don't you want to hear what the other 99% of the troops think?
