uh oh, after reading these answers I am concerend becuase I am Christian, I am saved, I accept the Lord as my Savior....and I beleive in reincarnation. I know my soul is old becuase I have memories of past lives WAY too accurate on details and I have NEVER had history on them. I beleive we are sent back to settle things, finish things and to learn.

I guess that would depend on your complete belief and what your "faction" of Christianity believes.
As for me, the atonement and ressurection of Jesus Christ were total and complete. There is but one life to live, and that is why Christ atoned for our sins. If we got to keep coming back, what would be the point of the ressurection. Each and every person who has lived on the earth will receive the gift of a ressurected body, because of our Saviour. Depending on our commitment to Christ and how we follow him, we may be able to receive that gift and live with him forever. I can't imagine having to do all this over again and never being able to be with my husband, children, or other family and friends. Again, what would be the point of it all?
It's up to you to find out from God what the truth is. No one can convince you. Read James 1:5. We are all entitled to answers from God, he will tell you in your heart and in your head what the truth really is.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :) God will help truly guide those who are searching for the truth.
As for believing what other religeons teach in gereral, there is some truth in light to be found in almost everything. You can find many similarities between most religions. I find that it makes it easier to be a christian woman when I look for the good in others and the similarities, rather than pointing out the bad!

Believe whatever you want. You don't even have to believe in god, you can just believe in reincarnation. DOn't believe, and he doesnt exist to you.

Of course if you believe in god and follow his way he who is dead will live again, death can't keep God's people in the ground they will rise again. (is this not a form of reincarnation)

I think it will be impossible. Reincarnation contradicts with what the bible, god's word, says about when we die. Please contact me if you want to know what God really purposes and what the bible really teaches YOu'll be surprised and be happy! don't worry i'm not some freak either.

being a christain means you believe that if you have excepted Jesus in to your heart you will go to heaven not come back in another form. If you believe that you can't be a christian thats not what they believe.

according to the bible, there is one true god and one true religion-christianity, therefore you cannot BELIEVE in anything that's not christianity based. however, you can ditch the whole christianity bit and believe whatever the hell you want to.

You can believe ideas from other religions only if they are in complete harmony with what the Bible teaches.

A person can believe whatever He chooses. God gave him a free will.
Jesus would rather that we fill our mind with truth.
