Instead of telling you the answer, I'll tell you how to write an essay.
1. You need to come up with an answer. You don't even have to believe it, you just have to have enough evidence to support it.
2. Introduction: Give a bold statement in the first line. By the end of your intro, write your THESIS which is essentially your answer to the question.
3. Make the next few paragraph a reason why guys and girls should or should not be educated in different classrooms. Give examples.
4. Finish with a conclusion, restate your answer and summarize the reasons you came to the answer.
Now that you read that, I will actually give you an idea of what to write.
They should not be educated in different classrooms. The reasons are:
1. Their interaction is important to their future social life.
2. Opinions from different gender views enlighten discussion
3. Guys may have things that they are better at than girls, and vice versa. They can help each other out along the way.
See? Not that hard. I have no qualification in this subject and I still came up with a few ideas of what to write that any high school English teacher will stamp with a seal of approval.

Yes they should. All children over 8-10 should be seperated into boy and girl settings. When ever you have males and females in the same classroom you have a natural sexual tension even in very young children. My daughter is 8 and is already has boys trying to presure her into being their girlfriend. This is very upsetting to her, as she does not want to disapoint these boys and she also knows we do not allow dateing.
In separate educational settings students can focus on what they need to focus on, their studies. And boys and girls generaly have different learning styles. If you have male and female settings you can design your instuction to meet the needs of the children you serve. Most teacher are female and teach to meet the needs of females. Hence if you go into any special education classroom you are more likely to find a room full of boys. This is clear evidence that the educaional needs of boys are not being met. If there are settings designed for the learning styles of boys it only makes sense that the boys could achive bettter.

As a teacher I sometimes think so. I teach 6th grade to a bunch of boy crazy girls (most of the boys are still into wrestling, not girls) and these girls spend so much of their time primping for the boys (who like I said hardly notice them yet). The problem is, the girls are doing poorly in school becuase they are flouncing so much for the boys. And of course when they become adults no man wants a stupid wife (well okay, a few want trophy wives, but lets face it after a while even they need real conversation). Research shows (don't ask for my sources, I remember it from all my pedagogy classes at university) that girls in the middle school years do much better when educated seperatly from the boys. Teachers (even female ones) tend to favor boys and give them more chances to do well, whereas the girls are put into roles of doing well in the Language Arts and Art, Dance, and Drama type courses, whereas boys are pushed to do better in Math and Science type courses. Still keeping up with the ideas of gender roles in larger society. Girls who are educated away from boys do tend to do better in the math and science areas.
Convesely we have to consider that boys and girls must also be taught to socailly interact. School is more than just about the subject matters. There is a hidden curriculum within all schooling (mostly to keep the satus quo of where people 'belong" within the larger societal group) and part of the hidden curriculum is the socializaton of our children.
Personally I think that in the elementary years it does not much matter, but as children move to the middle school years they should be seperated, and then mixed back together for the senior high years.

There are some studies that show that it might be a good idea. Students can concentrate on their studies instead of each other. Girls in particular seem to benefit from same sex classrooms. Google it for more info.

No, having both sexes together gives a broader view point and opinons, that would help shape there educational and social tools to use later on in life, such as marriage or working with the opposite sex , and each sex would learn how to inter act and deal with different issues in real life situations.

If you'll do a little research, you'll find that several studies found out that both sexes actually learn more and do better on tests when separated, especially teens. This is thought to be probably due to being more able to concentrate on their studies instead of raging hormones.

Here in Kuwait we have separate schools for both girls and boys also our University is aiming at separating our classes (boys from girls) first because of our religion and culture and second because recent studies has shown that classes of only boys or girls have a better education level and more higher than mixed classes.

Well , why should that be? male and female are just the same, they got the same intelligence, they can learn the same kind of things. I believe this only happens in old Catholic schools.

Well, I suggest you DON'T write, "No, because I like to sit next to Nicole in third period."
Start by outlining your pros and cons, and go from there. I'm on messenger right now and not doing anything if you'd like some help.
