Burn the house down.
It's bad, I know. But all kidding aside, check these out:

And my favorite (the product that made me throw the matches away) for EXTREME cases:

Good Luck with that. I had to use the Rug Doctor machine with the above product, in one really bad case.

Nature's Miracle also worked very well for me.. silly puppy grew up to be a great dog.. I believe it is guaranteed to work for any animal stains by naturally neutralizing the nitrates in urine using some kind of enzyme formula.. it took a couple applications and I made sure that I dampened the subfloor as well before putting the padding and carpeting back in place. maybe going to that extreme is not necessary, but I didn't want to have to deal with the issue again. The smell is tolerable and dissapates quickly and the most important part is that it is non-toxic.. so no worries of the puppy rolling his ball around when the carpet had been cleaned up and dried out

There are many sprays you can find at stores like PetsMart to get the smell/stains from urine out of your carpet.

clean the area with dish soap and water. 1 part soap to 3 parts water. take a cloth and clean the area with the water/soap mixture. using a dry sponge blot the spot to absorb the urine. after take 1/2 cup baking soda and sprinkle over area. let dry over night. baking soda will absorb the odour in the carpet. vacume up baking soda when dry.
used this many many times,

i don't know of anything that actually works short of replacing carpet and pad, and depending on the floor it can soak into it, and you may still smell.....if it's a one time thing...you may be able to use something like nature's miracle and get it out but if it's been a favored spot....it's a little harder.

I like to pee right over it, it will wipe the cat urine smell right off the carpet.

Natures Miracle does wonders. I use it all the time for that and also it takes out blood and other natural stains from laundry. Buy it at Pet Smart or Dr Foster and Smith (online) I think Walmart may also sell it, but don't quote me on that.

Simple Solution is what I use. It uses non-pathogenic bacteria and enzymes that actually digest and get rid of the urine. It works great. I get mine at PetSmart.

Vim Oxygel works wonders, do not dilute at all!!
The last time my cat peed on the rug this is all I used directly from bottle, let it sit for awhile and then rinsed it out, no smell whatsoever, amazing.
Thank-you Vim!! lol

Hmmm, thats a hard one , but I,ve heard that vinegar/water nuetralizes it.( the odor)More than likely it wont come completely out, and the cat is going to go back to the same spot, and do it again
