Well, some people believe he existed and some don't.Me i know he existed, just in the supernatural. Some people are quick to say jesus arent real..thats because they dont know him and what he did for us..he was crucified for us,he was nailed to a cross for us,he died and rose again yet still for us.So people who dont believe he existed could either:not know,or just dont believe in him.Everyone is talking about him because of what a wonder he is.And how could you not talk about someone who blesses you everyday.A whole day can go by and u dont get anything from anyone or nothing special happens that could be because GOD already blessed you that day....When he woke you up that morning...

It isn't Jesus they are against. I am sure the would feel the same way about Frodo Baggins if ppl were running around saying, Frodo loves you but if you don't accept him, you're goin to the 666 levels of hades. It's right here! In this BOOK!" You make it sound like they are attacking Jesus personally, when I have not seen that at all. I see people being attacked for using their religion to get at other people. Maybe we should start with that reality first?

There's more direct historical proof that Jesus Christ existed than proof that the Greek poet Homer existed. Yet, we don't ever question Homer's existence. I think the answer lies in the fact that Homer didn't turn the religious establishment on it's ear with claims that he was the fulfillment of centuries' old prophecies or the living Son of God.

Though I believe Jesus existed, that is somewhat of a silly question. Poseidon, Zeus and the other Greek gods did not exist, yet people discussed them for many years. If you are a Christian, you likely believe that various aspects of the Hindu religion are false, yet that religion has existed MUCH longer than ours. Staying power does not neccessarily equate validity or truth.

There is too much evidence, from the bible to many documents from Asia, that speak of his presence as a student and teacher. You can question his divinity, but there was definetely a guy named Jesus wandering around the desert 2000 years ago.

He definitely did exist. There is no question about that. The question to be debated is "was he really the son of God?". Most people in the world think not, but the Christians overpower them, thinking they are the only faith in existence.

It is an historical fact that Jesus of Nazareth did exist. As recorded, he was born in the town of Bethlehem, near Jerusalem. His geneology is documented in the scriptures and other historical documents, as is his death by crucifiction. What is at issue between Christians and non-Christians is His divinity, in other words, His claim to be the literal son of God, as well as his ressurection and atonement. One thing that not all Christian sects agree on or understand is the significance of those events to mankind and what we need to do to make them effective in our own lives. My personal understanding of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is that he is indeed the firstborn son of God, and as the scriptures say, the Only Begotten of the Father. This literal divine heritage gave him the immortality necessary to rise beyond mortality in the ressurection, and his sinless perfection in mortaility qualified him to atone for the sins of those who take full advantage of that atonement by way of repentance, which is a means by which we can be cleansed of sin. The result of true repentence is a forgiveness or cleansing of our sins by the grace of God, after we have done our part.

Everyone is talking about Him, because he does exist. He loves you and wants you to believe in Him as well. If you are having these questions in your head, I would encourage you to talk with a pastor of an Evangelical church. You are obviously searching. And that is a good thing!

it like Joe Shmo said he probably did exist, the roman historian Tacitus mentions Jesus in his books on Roman History written sometime between AD 45-62. What is debated is whether he was divine.

Jesus Christ the person did exist... they do have proof of that.
How he came to exist and his divinity, is another question. God... well... whatever one believes.

The Bible... is what makes people believe or disbelieve... we created the Bible... you know the game "pass it down the lane"- how messed up the message gets at the end?- that I believe is what happened to the Bible... and that is why I stopped believing.

But JESUS CHRIST THE PERSON EXISTED... whether you choose to believe that or not... is up to you.
