you have an abcess probably of some type. it could be a periodontal abcess which is basically an abcess in the gums along the tooth you should see your dentist pronto

Could be an infection. Brush and wash out that part of the mouth thuroughly. Get some mouth-wash and wash that part of the mouth a couple of times through out the day. If it doesn't go away within a day or two see a dentist.

It sounds like the socket is healing, as for the pain maybe you got something stuck in the gums by the socket that can be a tender area for a long time and if something is irritating it that could be your problem. I would go see your dentist and get it check out.

Is your gums red and do they bleed when brushing your teeth?? if so,you have an infection of your gums,it's call GINGIVITIS,you need to get to your dentist and take care of this problem...It can cause serious problems if you don't watch out....

It could be a cavity or you may need a root canal or just some gum disease you need to see a dentist before it becomes an infection and kill you.

u should go to your dentist it could be one of your salivary glands is swollen or a duct is blocked and that pressing on a nerve causing pain in the gums......it could be tooth decay too sometimes the pain radiates through the surrounding tissue

SEE a dentist! i think u could have osteoperosis - the silent tooth killer. u dont know until too late and then all ur teeth fall out. hopefully its not that but if it is that, then get treatment unless u want false dentures for the rest of ur life

Ah, sounds like gingevitis to me. Try using mouthwash daily. If it doesn't go down in a few days, see a dentist. Also, you may have accidentally cut it somehow.

u could have a bad tooth-wisdom tooth if its hurting under the gums. get 2 a dentist soon as possible!
