Not sure how your doctor is using the term, but it means one of two things. Either a kidney stone that is teeny weeny, like a pinpoint OR a kidney stone with a surface like a golf ball: many little pinpoints all over it.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
