The main reason is because of their quality. compare any american car with an european or japanese car. american cars just suck cause they break down easily. american cars are just all about power and thats why the american car companies are dying. maybe they should open their eyes more and realize what their competitors are doing... like putting more money into hybrid cars and fuel efficiency. american cars also have no good design. absolutely no creativity when it comes to american cars. race a dodge viper against even a honda civic for a long time.... the honda civic will win the race eventually cause the viper will just break down

Define foreign? Toyota's are made in Mexico, Canada and the U.S. Honda's are assembled in Mexico and the U.S. Real simple...find a car you like, do a little research abuy it and enjoy. Don't worry about foreign or domestic.

I work for gm and I dare you to compare a gm vehicle to any honda, toyota etc. and you will find that the gm vehicle compares equally or better.

The main reason is reliability. JApanese and European cars are much more reliable
