A 21 year old MAN is just that, a GROWN man. It's not up to the doctor. He may give all the advice he wants, but it's ultimately the man's decision!!

You are not too young, because at the age of twenty one you can have a vasectomy, though why you would want to is a mistery to me. You do relise that if you have a vasectomy you won't be able to have children anymore. If this is why you want a vasectomy, and you already have children, then a doctor wouldn't find it as a bad idea. However, if you haven't had children, then a doctor may think it's a questionable idea, and may not do one.

The operation CAN be preformed when your 21. The problem that you may face is finding a Doctor to do it. Some believe that because of your age, mentally (not saying your immature), because as you grow older you think differently so on a personal decision some Doctors may tell you to come back in a few years and if you still want it done they will do it. Some Doctors also encourage women to wait to get their tubes tied because after its done a few years later some people will come back and want it reversed. First find a Dr that wants to listen to you and hear why you want it done, and then let them know and be blunt because if they see that your not sure then they won't do it.

That depends, is this a man who is undergoing a sex change operation and has gotten therapy for several years before deciding on proceeding? Or is this simply a man who believes at the time that he will never want to be a father? If you don't want children have sex (with a condom), or masturbate 1 to 2 times every day, that should depress your sperm count enough to reduce risk if the condom breaks. It is not fool proof, but it is less pain full than getting a procedure done, and it is reversible.

Yes they would. They would explain the risks of the procedure and make sure that you fully understand what the surgery involves and the consequences of having the surgery.
