Here's a great idea...try embracing your curly hair. I have the same hair if not worse and I used to flat iron my hair every week. I finally got tired of the damage and it being dried out. I went natural a year ago and wish I would have done it sooner. I know it seems like it's impossible to deal with, but once you get the hang of it you wonder what took you so long. Now, it does require patience and testing out routines and products, but it is possible. I suggest visiting this site http://www.naturallycurly.com. There are a ton of curlies here ranging in all textures, thickness, and ethnicities. They've all been where you are and will be willing to help you and give any suggestions. There's also a straightening section there if you want tips on it and how to keep your hair healthy while you do it.

why don't you just kind of make it a messy bun every once in a while, but not a super messy bun, and braid it sometimes, i know what it is like to have really really thick hair, it sucks!! and it is a pain to have to straighten it everyday, it fries your hair really bad. Try the Friz-ease stuff from John Frieda it really works.

I have darkish brown thick hair evidently. at the same time as that's darkish brown it seems healthy, brilliant, and feels like I have a lot less hair & thinner. Thats only an phantasm, type of like once you position on black outfits, you look thinner. when I get quite blonde highlights throughout, it seems quite thick, damaged, and feels like I have a ton of hair and also you may see each layer and attitude. a million.) darkish brown skinny hair doesnt look undesirable. 2.) darkish hair wont quite make your hair look thicker once you've skinny hair to commence with. There are alot of things obtainable to make your hair look more desirable volumized inclusive of shampoos. also make effective you're taking a nutrition standard and eat perfect foodstuff. Your hair receives more desirable healthy.

get a perm with rods 1-2 sizes larger than your natural curl. I would advise only 1 size because when your hair grows in it will grow in the curl that you currently have. If you still think that is to tight a curl alternate the rods. Doing so will allow you to get more longevity out of the perm.

why you don't go to see your hairstylist and ask her were you can buy a long hair and they can trans plate that hair with your hair and if you take hair long style just nead a permanent for pull out your curly hair. so you have the chose that kind of hair it's not synthetic hair but a true hair come from some person who had a long hair and was tired to keep her long hair. And if you chose to make it that you gonna keep it for around 8 to 9 months.

try going to a salon and getting a chemical relaxer, it works with ethnic hair that is overly curly and it should work with yours, a chemical relaxer is the exact opposite of a perm, a perm curls and a relaxer straightens. try it, it just might work, if you dont want to pay the money, www.seventeenmag.com has some hair tips... good luck!

1) Get a perm.
2) Put it in a ponytail or pigtails.
3) Get a hairdresser.
4) Live with it.

Get some anti-frizz styling product, work it through your wet hair and NEVER use a brush. Just your fingers.

how about just scrunching it with mousse and lightly blowdry! curly hair is beautiful...also my friend has velcro rollers and when her curly hair is almost dry, she wraps them in the large ones and she gets loose to medium waves...of course you have to blowdry as well...

i had the same problem. you should get it chemically straightened or get a perm. It will stay through your swims in the pool and you can do a lot more with it.
