Hi there i am in the process of building my new home and i found it more easier to start building from my own pocket so that when i move into it, it is all mine and did'nt have to worry about anyone taking it from me or the monthly bill on it.It has taken me and my fiance two years to do it and now we will be moving in our own home in two weeks. So i think that if you can do it that way then that is the best thing to do.

First you need to make a list of what you want & need in a home. second, get appoverd by a saving & loan company. then you check the areas you would like to live, then get a buyers agent. never let them tell you what you want, you tell them what you want in a home & where. just remember you are the one who has to make the morgage every month. just make sure you love this place. if you get an agent you really like & trust you could have a very pleasent experience. if not it could turn into hell for you. GOOD LUCK!! and LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!..Think about when you want to sell it too, is it in a good location for you to sell quickly. is it close to schools, markets etc... just don't forget 5 yrs from now.

Where are you located?
If you are in the North Or South Pole,
the igloos are the cheapest.
If you are near the equator, the prices
are quite cheap.
If you are near the Sahar/Thar desert,
you may get it free also.
Specify your preferred
location and the budget.

first you must be able to make the payments. If that is solved then you should decide what you can afford and what you like then compromize. Then jump in and go in debt like the rest of us. like eating it will all come out in the end lol
