You must get enrolled in any tiring sports like beach volley ball or athletic or any other game which makes you real tired. Come back home and have a nice shower. Eat wholesome meal and start reading your school books ! School book has a way of making students fall asleep. Just before going to sleep have a hot cup of milk. Good night.

You might talk to your mom about taking either a melatonin supplement (it's a natural substance your body makes to help you sleep) or some kids do well taking a calcium/magnesium supplement. Get yourself in a good bedtime routine, cut out any heavy meals or big snacks after 7:30, don't drink sodas that have caffiene in them. Don't fall asleep with a tv on either. Keep your room cool and dark and you should be able to catch some z's that way. Good luck sweetie!

I regularly listen to music such as Dagda, Jonn Serrie, or Enigma. The deep base always puts me in a deep sleep pretty quickly. Staying asleep is an other story. But then at 40+ years old I have a lot more to worry about than you do. You are only eleven. I hope you enjoy your youth! It will fly by and before you know it YOU'LL be 40+, too.

You have to try to relax your mind, quiet your thoughts and don't watch TV if you know that it will just make you want to stay up to watch more, get comfortable and either read or write or Pray.
When I really want to go to sleep, but just cant seem to; I just pray and ask God to please calm my mind and give me Peace and rest, I ask him to do a quick work and help me to fall asleep peacefully and quickly, and it has NEVER not worked!
I hope that you rest well tonight Babe.

The best way to do it is to breath deeply, from your belly, in slow long breaths. Keep doing this until you become relaxed. Before you know it you will sleep.

Try reading in bed. Always worked for me when I was your age. But not the Bible, though. It might give you nightmares, especially Revelation!
