I still have feelings for my ex...a couple of days ago i had a dream about his deceased parents...i told him that i did...is that considered mind manupilation? And will he think i'm trying to play on his parents' memory to get him back?

Anyways, what I think here is you are still thinking about him.
Now, when you are thinking about him, that does not mean that you are still in love with him, its just the 'warmth of the seat' that you have got up from. Now, get going!!!
If you had the nerve to get things over with him, I think you need to go into 2 gear now!! You will need to look at things ahead.
Telling him about it, may seem to him, like you are still thinking about him, but if you just shut up and move on, then I think you will stop having visions like this.
But on the other hand, if you feel that you will still have feelings for this guy, then take a break, and think about it. You will need to think about all the good things and the bad things about him.
That will put you in the right track.

I wouldn't bring his parents up,because he might think that your trying to play on his parents memory to get him back and he might get mad about it. Why don't you just be honest with him and tell him how you feel.
