Silence. It is GOLDEN. Girls like to talk and like to be listened to. Watch their lips, look into their eyes and ask questions for clarification of what they are saying. This shows interest in their concerns. Be patient, they tend to use lots of detail to get to the point, but it is worth the wait. Don't volunteer information on yourself. Let them ask for it. Then you won't be boring them with stuff they aren’t interested in (or appear to be bragging). Good luck.
