People keep saying the egg. But, if that is true, who would the egg multiply with to make more chicks?
That's why I say it is the chicken. God made a chicks to mate, therefore, having chicks.
You just can't have one egg and have it not have an equal to mate with it to continue the process.

It may depend on what you're making. Read your recipe carefully. Sometimes the chicken comes first, but often you mix all other ingredients first, then the chicken comes last.
