I drool just think of them all hot right out of the fryer. Those things should be outlawed....

I have a love/hate relationship with them. I love their taste, but hate their use of hydrogenated oil. Check out the labels on one of their boxes and look at the hydrogenated oil (trans-fat content).

I love krispy kreme donuts. My husband and I make it a date night once a month to go to krispy kreme donuts in Seattle and sit by the window and talk and watch the cars and people go by. It's so cool we sometimes take some crossword puzzles to work on while having the donuts and coffee.

oh boy, give me a bib, i'm drooling all over myself. There used to be 6 within 45 mins. of me, and they have closed all but 1, and that is supposed to close, too. The only place I can get them is a Speedway or Kroger. Then I have to find a microwave FAST!!!!!
What's even better though is the little family owned bakery in our small town---they have the best doughnuts hands down!!!

I ate at Krispy Kreme once when I first moved to Virginia because my new neighbor said their donuts were the best in the world. Notice I said once. After that I felt the need to carry an emesis basin with me when I drove past the place. The smell of all that grease and all the sugar that makes your teeth actually ache was enough to make me sick. I live in NM now and they carry it in one of the grocery stores and at least one convenience store chain. We weren't offered a free one, but my husband was the first time he went. If they have to give the donuts away, that should tell you something about the quality.

Doesn't everyone love them??? I just wish there was a Krispy Kreme place near me. All I can get is the day-old ones at the grocery store. (still good, but not the same)

I think Dunkin Donuts is way better and a better value for your money. The only added bonus of the KK is that you can get them warm. KK's coffee and hot chocolate suck hardcore

I personally do not like them as much as dunkin doughnuts. They are okay when there is nothing else around.

No. In fact I find them to be sickenly sweet. I prefer better donuts, like maple bars.

I don't think I ever had a fresh one. I had a day old one it was o.k. Our place closed before it was a year old!
