I do and it is quite debilitating.
“Fibroid myalgia” or fibromyalgia as it is better known is a common condition characterized by generalized pain and fatigue. This condition has nothing to do with fibroids, but is more a form of rheumatoid athritis.
I regularly see a Chiropractor, Accupuncturist and a Massage Therapist and I take Naproxen and Norflex because the pain is so intense sometimes. It affects my lower back and my shoulder blades are constantly aggravated. I am usually in constant pain and stressed out about my back because it affects my daily living. My muscles are always sore and makes me tired and irritable.
I am looking to see a rheumatologist.
Oh yeah -- symptoms include migraine headache, decrease in short term memory, cognitive dysfunction, blurred or double vision, hypersensitivity to sound and smells, shortness of breath, chest pains, palpitations, irritable bowel, irritable bladder, painful menses, painful urination, multiple drug allergies, multiple sensitivities to chemicals.

I also suffer from fibromyalgia (don't worry honey, you'll have plenty of time to learn to spell it) Each person is different, so remember that what may be disabling for me, could just be a few bad weeks a year for you. Don't stress (you'll find it makes it worse) and embrace your limitations (this takes time) IF you have any. The resource sites that carolina put in her answer are the same ones I would recommend!!!! Find a good rheumatologist, and don't quit looking for one until you are happy! A doctor that you can talk to and work with are crucial.

It's fibromyalgia. There are many good places to find information on the web about this disease group. There are also as many 'uninformed' sites. So, judiciously or carefully select sites from reputable organizations. Run a Yahoo or Google search on the search term "fibromyalgia" and you'll probably receive too many 'hits' to digest at one sitting. Narrow it down to specifically what you're looking for, and you'll do much better.
Here are a few starting places.
The "Fibromyalgia Network" at:
http://www.fmnetnews.com/
The "National Fibromyalgia Association" at:
http://www.fmaware.org/
The National Institutes of Health on-line answers guide to fibromyalgia, at:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/fibromyalgia.html
Good luck!

Like the others said, it is spelled fibromyalgia. Check out my office website. The doctor I work for is the top in the southeastern United States for treating fibromyalgia.
