Step one is electing a Democratic Congress in November.
Two words: Subpeona Power.
John Nichols, the editor of the Capitol Times, is coming out with a new book called "The Genius of Impeachment." His basic argument is that impeachment is not a crisis - it is the remedy for when elected officials create a crisis. Bush has created a crisis (more than one actually) - it is time for him to go.

I would like to say yes, because he certainly has earned it. there was talk of impeaching Clinton for lying under oath about having an affair. However, there are impeachable offenses, and then there are impeachable offenses.
There is always going to be someone who is going to think that Bush can do no wrong. so let's take a look at some crimes and misdemeanors:
1. Failed to properly assess intelligence which could have prevented the 9-11 terrorist attacks;
2. Used the 9-11 attacks to push through dramatic changes in US laws which directly diminished US civil rights.
3. Authorized the increased use of rendition (a policy in which we can abduct citizens from other countres, send them to a country that allows for torture and have them tortured or "disappeared"). He has recently admitted to signing presidential affirmations as to this policy.
4. Secretly has allowed for the wiretapping of US citizens withut warrant (which requires show of probable cause)
5. Allowed for the release of top-secret information which ruined the career of a CIA operative simply because her husband disagreed with the Administration distorting/manufacturing evidence about Iraq's non-existent Weapons of mass Destruction.
I am sure there are more reasons, but those are just off the top of my head. Who in their right mind can condone these activities?

George W. Bush is not going to be impeached because he has done absolutely NOTHING WRONG for the United States of America and I believe that the Atlanta Hawks will win the NBA Championship before George W. Bush is impeached and the Atlanta Hawks do not have a chance of winning the NBA Championship this decade.

Why impeach him? Although we all know that Bush has failed our idea of a perfect president looking out for the well being of his country, everyone failed to believe all the threats,, and BAM Bush is elected and this happens... he is reactionary, but he is not hte one who makes decisions, he has an advisor... if he is impeached now... the US is still tittering in the brink of a bad economic era for the working class due to its spendinture in army supplies due to the war. Poor Bush he is merely a puppet, who does not have the courage to stand up to bad decisions...

I believe you are wrong to say we cannot do it that it takes the government to do it. there is a provision for a grass root impeachment.
So lets say you succeed then what do you really want another Dick for president?
Remember when the last Dick resigned.
The new president who no one voted for by the way because Dick appointed him gave Tricky Dicky a presidential pardon.
probably his best trick.
I for one have had enough ***** as my President !
