Hmm... sounds like you should see a doctor. You might have Lyme disease. Do you ever remember being bit by a tick? Did you ever have a red rash that grew and was normal colored in the center (like a target). Lyme disease occurs frequent in the Eastern states. Lyme disease does have a lasting effect. Please see a doctor immediately because if you wait too long you will have permanent symptoms!!!!

Lyme is caused by a bacteria known as Borrelia Burgdorferi. It is usually treated with several months of Doxycycline. But once the late stage disease sets in, you many have permanent symptoms such as arthritis. Still you need to see a doctor because you may have nerve problems and heart problems that need to be monitored.

I am not sure if you are sexually active. If you are, get a syphilis test.

Maybe you have gout, or juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. You are definitely too young to have osteoarthritis. It is possible that you have a bone tumor, bone cancer, or a leukemia.

You could have rheumatic fever if you recently had a sore throat.

Maybe you are just very active and have joint inflammation.

Either way, go see a doctor.

While not a medical professional and am not offering any medical advice I can relate something I remember. A few ago, my father started having a lot of unexplained aches in his joints and the only thing that helped was aspirin. After a few doctor's visits and even more tests - he was diagnosed with hepatitis. Once admitted and treated, he recovered but because it took so long to actually treat it, he did suffer some liver damage. Please have your mother call your doctor's office tonight to perform an examination and run blood tests.

It could be Lupus, go and see a Doctor soon!

do a Yahoo search on Lupus and check for symptoms, you can also check out www.lupus.org.

And then again it could be Nothing At All, But only a Doctor would be able to diagnose you, so make an appointment and discuss your concerns with one.

I hope that this information is at least somewhat helpful to you.

There are so many possibilities and no one but a doctor can diagnose what is going on. A doctor won't even diagnose without examining you and/or running some tests. I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor to get to the bottom of your problem.

Joint pain is usually a sign of osteoarthritis, but you are WAY too young for that! I agree, have your Mother take you to the doctor for a full exam and possible x-rays.

I had knee pains that were just groin pains. Just wait for a year or so and if the become extremely painful or keep going on, contact a doctor.

there are a few things that come to mind that could be the cause of joint pain....
I, however, am not a doctor. I would really suggest that you see a doctor about it, especially since you are so young.
