I believe in most states it is 12 yrs old. But they also should wieght in the maturity factor and I'm unsure if that makes a difference or not. But as I said, Most states that I have ever hesrd of, it is 12.

there is not any such specific age to stay at home alone if you are ready to stay home alone without getting scared and your parents and guardians allow you to do that then there is no problem. about myself i started staying home alone from the age of 10 with the permission of my parents but tthat day was a nightmare for me i was very scared but as timed passed i started building confidance and started staying alone.

it's usually up the the parents/guardians to decide when their child is mature enough to be left home alone. the typical age is 11-13ish

Some states have such a law, but the age varies.

Apparently it's 13...my son is nine and he was wondering about that, too. His Dad answered without hesitation that it's 13.

that depends on your parents, on how responsible you are, on how safe your neighborhood is, on how long and when you are staying home, and on whether anyone is nearby in case of emergency.
