While your points are valid, Iraq is not ready to be left to their own. It is too unstable. Right now it is on the brink of a civil war between the major religious groups. If the US was the leave now, every thing we fought for and have achieved, would be for nothing. We will never be able to leave Iraq completely for a long period of time. Having a democratic nation in the middle of the such a tyrannical area such as the middle east, is destined for trouble. To secure Iraq we would have to fix the whole middle east and this is just something that isn't going to happen soon.

No, not yet. If we completely pulled out the 130,000 troops right now Iraq would plunge into a civil war. This would cause the country to become even more troubled before and a hotbed for terrorism, much like misquitoes growing in a dirty puddle. Although the US shouldn't have really entered in the first place, they certainly shouldn't back out yet. It takes more then 7 months to create a stable government.

Money is not the answer. We wouldn't see that money if there was no war. When have you known the Government to spend that type of money on its own citizens unless its a disaster. It's about leadership my friend. The only reason we should get out of Iraq is because we don't belong there for any length of time.We are not garrison soldiers. The American soldier is taught to achieve his objective and leave the garrison of said objective to those those trained in that type of warfare. This is another reason we are losing so many troops. If history has taught us anything it is kick as and go home.We kicked as but we didn't go home.

Holy crap people it hasn't even been 5 years and you all want to pull out? DAMN what a bunch of friggin nancies. We've only lost just over two thousand troops. Do you realize how many men we lost in Vietnam, Korea and the World Wars? We are dominating Iraq, we have control of it and everybody is allowing the sensationalist media to get them down. And to all of those who preface their opinion with idk much about..., you need to shut the hell up educate yourself. Take it from some one who's been to Iraq and Afghanistan. They aren't near as bad as everyone makes them out to be and they are getting much better. I'd rather go to Baghdad then Camden anyways. We're there for a reason and if we don't accomplish what we set out to do then those 2000 some troops died for nothing, just like how everyone in Vietnam died in vain.

We are allowing the Iraqi people to take control of their own destiny. The people we are fighting are the ones who do not want this to happen.
