What does it mean when someone says you're soft looking?

Someone recently described me as being real soft looking. I've never heard this expression before. I'm not fat or so they're not talking about my weight, what do they mean by this?

its a compliment. i promise. soft is almost cute, but its more a physical thing than anything. it most deff is a good thing

i think that is a nice way of saying that you are fat.
