Do you not think this is even semi-possible and makes sense? would you hope this is right or prefer it to be wrong? either way, it's fascinating right?

(If I were to go back to my catholicism ways... I would believe this... it makes more sense to me. If the bible were to make sense... I would still be Roman Catholic. Please Do Not Preach to one who has Preached.)

I could call the Bible fiction...
who are you to say it is wrong when it is very possible...? while you believe what is very unlikely?

Why do so many people insist that DaVinci Code is "fiction"? Actually it contains both fiction and fact. This is the typical Christian propaganda machine in action which sweepingly makes the whole book fiction when in fact there are many true things in it. So it's fact & fiction just like the bible (though the bible contains far more fiction than DVC).

Da Vinci code is fascinating as a fictional story but that's all it is.

Dan Brown claims that a lot of stuff in his book is fact but it's not.

Real Facts are:

Da Vinci labelled the figures in the Last Supper on practice sheets before painting it on the wall in the church. All these sheets label the character in question as John (not Mary M) Any art historian would verify this.

The secret society was a hoax made by a French guy in 1956.

Both books are fiction based on some facts. At least The Da Vinci Code has a sense of logic.

It was a good movie if taken as fiction. Otherwise, as an argument, it diminishes quickly.

The movie has kind of a Renaissance theme to it, but that is an entirely different era. By then the Bible's last entry was hundreds of years previous.

As well, DaVinci was not even there during the Lord's evening meal, so to take his painting as an eye-witness account is just absurd...

...But the movie was good as entertainment. I'll give it that.

"When has an Oxford student out-rowed a Harvard student?"

"Uhh...Surely such a travesty has never occurred..."

I believe that Dan Brown believes it's true. He did his research and is convinced. I know that the bible was edited in the 4th century by the pagan Emperor Constantine. It is a known fact that they eliminated books of the bible. I believe that some of the DaVinci Code is real and some is fiction.

If you read the book, Dan Brown says that everything written in this book is true, but the book is under the catogory of fiction? Huh Dan Brown himself is confused. I think this book is a little fiction little facts. I know my english teacher, she did reasearch on this book for four years even before the book came out she was already doing reasearch on it!! It really doesn't matter what anybody else believes. It's what you believe.

The book is based on facts or theories that have been around hundreds of years, what people may have said is fiction. This is not the first time I have heard most of these theories. It is just like solving a crime, follow the money (or power) and he who benefits most..... The church was total and complete power, in many cases that power was abused, the church ruled the country, that is why the separation of state and church is so important. So my answer is "Maybe"

You may have preached, but do you know the bible?
Jesus was to give his life as a ransom sacrifice to save others.
He bought back for us what Adam lost. He is now our father.
We are as the bible says adopted. Had he had a family of his own then the bible is totally wrong. So he didn't.

Part of being made in God’s image means that Adam had the capacity to make free choices. Although he was given a righteous nature, Adam made an evil choice to rebel against his Maker. In so doing, Adam marred the image of God within himself, and he passed that damaged likeness on to all his children, including us (Romans 5:12). Today, we still bear the image of God (James 3:9), but we also bear the scars of sin. Mentally, morally, socially, and physically, we show the effects.

I don't believe that trash, but either way he is still Jesus. He is the son of God. He was put here to live as a human. I don't understand the big fascination with the movie. I would hate to be those pitiful people who made it when they stand before God.
