just wonderin what people would do if they were in a war

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and the retirement.
You do what you have to do to survive, and make sure your buddy survives. No soldier in the world really likes war, because the soldier is the one who will suffer the most from it. But, believe it or not, there are times when a war is both justified and necessary, no matter what the mainstream media, or the opposition political party, or college professors, or any other nay-sayers think.

Patrol streets, raid buildings, conduct cordon and search, run traffic control points, watch out for IED, shoot insurgents, arrest insurgents, have friends hurt or killed, kill those who killed my friends, shed some tears, write home, train security forces, play soccer with the kids in the streets, play video games, sports, read, and use the internet during my down time.
Oh wait I've been to war.
Yeah I'd do it all over again.

I have been...and you do what you have to do with pride and with trust in God.
I am an Army Nurse...and I would go again in a heartbeat to be there for all of our injured Warfighters

The same thing I did in Honduras, Columbia, El Salvador, Panama, the Gulf War, OEF and OIF.... my job.... take care of my missions, take care of my soldiers, take care of my unit, and take care of me.
