I personally use the Pantene Pro-V [Blonde] brand because I've found that it works just as well as the John Frieda kind and costs a lot less. I'm not naturally blonde either and Pantene keeps my hair lookin' really light! With everything else my color fades a lot but this didn't let it fade at all!

You need a purple shampoo specially for blonde hair. It is made to lightly tone your hair colour while you wash it, so if you find that your hair colour goes copper you'll be able to keep it looking fresh until you get your roots re done. Try to go for a shampoo with a lighter colour purple as the dark purple tends to over tone your hair!

John Frieda. And I would wash it then instead of brushing it wait till it's dry and use the John Frieda gel and mouse also spray, you can get it at many different stores like Wal Mart and your hair will be pretty, good luck and one more tip, instead of using blow dryer, don't because it causes frizz and wear a hat when you are somewhere.
