She will be three years old in one week and she gets grumpier and even more so as she gets older. Common phrases she says are, "Don't look at me, " "I'm grumpy," "Stop talking about me," and "Don't talk to me". Although I work a part time job I am only away from her 3 1/2 hours a day. I don't think that is what is causing it because I've been at this job since she was a baby. Maybe it's just her personality...don't know. Her astrological sign is cancer and I know the animal for that is a crab. Could that be it? lol

Her diet is great, she eats well and from all 4 food groups and then some but she is not fat by any means. We are not grumpy people at home and she does not go to a babysitter. Very occasionally her 5 yr old brother will come home from school grumpy and say "dont talk to me".

sounds normal. though she may be imitating someone (a friend at the sitter...) or just trying to get more attention from you.

how does she sleep? They say that the better (length and quality) of sleep a child gets, the happier the child will be.

i'm currently working on making my two year old's bedtime earlier each day by 10-20 minute increments. we started at a 10:00 bedtime (more like cranky-crash-time) and we are now at 9:00. i hope to get it to 7:30 and sleeping through the night!!! yay!

Having her "time of the month" is out because two going on three. Maybe the real reason why is because...I don't know. Maybe she's just having a bad mood. If her mood isn't what I think it is, you need to see your daughter's pediatrician.

She is either picking up the language from you, or she is picking it up from whom ever babysits for you, or from television...Or some place local that she is frequenting with out you knowing it.

So, whom ever has contact with her, is where she is getting the language from and you as a Mother are responsible for her upbringing, so start investigating...

I wish you well..
