This is a very sensitive question for me, but I'm fairly certain that I could have gone "all the way" with my Mom if I'd chosen to. How many guys experienced this too? Women--was I just imagining things (she was awfully forward and flirtateous). Finally, would it have really been that harmful if--as an older teen--we had "experimented?" I appreciate your honesty on this delicate subject.

oh these people need to calm down some. :) as an adult teen it would not have been harmful. illegal in most states, but not harmful. you obviously still think about it but i cant tell if thats a good thing or a bad thing just from what youre saying. if you need to talk i'm always around.

No it is not okay, and yes it can be very harmful to you and her. There is something really wrong with her to think it is okay to flirt or want to have sex with their own child. You are sort of a victim in this because that is your mom and you not knowing what to do, don't want to hurt her feelings. But what do you mean by flirtatious??? Maybe you took it the wrong way. Either way its a very bad thing and moms should never flirt with their own blood sons. Hope things are better now.

This is only tempting cause it speaks about unhealthy crossing the boundaries (emotional) - like when you steal something or you grab a breast of a strange girl. It is unhealthy for youngsters, cause it brings confusion in emotional maturation. By the way, my mom just came into the room, and I asked what is that she wants, and she was just talking unimportant things, just to evoke my flirtatious smile. And I knew that she wanted to do it, but I couldn't get myself off of it. This can be also her fault of misunderstanding my sexual development as a child. Surely there were times (and every other male or a female to her father) my body started talking in sexual manner faster than my brain could understand it, but my parent surely did. And there the parent needs to show the right way and not to bring a confusion.

And no, I've never been in that situation where I might be able to say to my kid: "Your mother is also your grandmother, you will understand this when you get older."

That is wrong it is incest. Mothers are supposed to protect and nurture their children. You need to speak with an adult, call a hot line, or see your school counselor. I wish you luck and am sorry you went through this.
