Ladies..would you rather have a bad boy or good guy as a bf? Why?

I always see these gorgeous women with loser bf's with no job, no car and treats them like crap. Why? What is wrong having a nice guy?

I guess I'm in the minority because I definitely prefer GOOD GUYS! Not much turns me off more than a guy who is an egotistical jerk, and/or who is a lazy leech, and/or who treats women poorly. I have never been attracted to guys like that. :(

Also, I have to say that only ONE of my large group of friends has ever gone for "bad boys". All the rest of them, like myself, prefer men who treat us with respect, honesty and sensitivity. Any woman who prefers a guy who's a true JERK has something wrong going on psychologically. I don't mean "crazy"; I just mean she has some dysfunctional hang-ups. I'm sorry, but no one (man OR woman) deserves to be with a partner who doesn't appreciate them or treats them poorly!! LIfe's too short to be unhappy.

i don't know, i have a good guy as a b/f. i don't know why some women pick the stupid guys, or the bad boys. those are normally just for like a while. when they are settling down, most go for the good guys. but i don't see why they just don't go for them at the beginning??? maybe they feel like they only deserve a loser b/f with nothing and who treats them like crap. or maybe he just got her first.

When a women is in her twenties she seem to want to experience adventure and the bad boys will give it to her. Some women never grow out of this stage. As women mature and seek stability the more opt to choose the nice guy.

If I'm looking for someone to have a good relationship with then I want a nice guy. Girls like having bad boys because it's exciting, but usually mature smart girls want nice guys.

and once they have grown up and look horibly tore up from the floor up and weathered and aged thats when they decide they want a good guy because they finally figured out that they want to be treated better, but usually by that time their heart is malfunctioning from too many bad boy relationships and all the baggage they have attached that its almost isn't worth it going with them anymore

best thing i can tel you is import some cute blonde from rusia or something and live happily ever after

nothings wrong with that... i'm married to a truely "nice guy"
but like you said, there are these beautiful girls, like my sister, who date these losers and get abused and misused..
why, who knows, in my sisters case, she was very naive and because he said she was beautiful, she fell right head over heels for it.. now she's got a 3 yr old, restraining order, and fractured ribs.. all because he was the cool guy, the bad-@$$ and he picked her..

i think that girls that go with guys like that are either looking for a way to rebel, want to feel what its like to slumb it, or just don't think themselve good enough to be able to attract a REAL man..

it's all about what's inside.. it's the inner beauty that counts..there is nothing wrong with nice guys.. it really depends on the girl and what she looks for in a guy..
