Jesus wasn't an atheist. He not only believed and accepted His father for who He was, He also accepted His own place and identity as well as that of the Holy Spirit. The reasons I believe are numerous. Open your heart and ask God to reveal the truth. It is the only way to experience this, because it is beyond human comprehension or potential. It can't be understood solely through thought but through the inner knowing of the heart.

He did not die for me or you. He died because someone put a spear in his gut. I believe the man named Jesus lived once. I think that he believed what he was saying was true. He died alone in pain for what? Because he said what he said and he would not back down from it. That does not make him the son of god. There is no god. If I was jesus's friend back in the day, I would have put a rag in his mouth and dragged him away from the jews. That is what I think. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I am only one man with my own thoughts on life and religion. I do not push my thoughts on anyone.

Okay if this is a question for atheists then they don't believe in Jesus and therefore can't believe that a non-existent thing could die for us and so also wouldn't die for a non-existent thing.
I believe what I believe because of how I was brought up.

No, I would not die for Jesus. What's the big deal with your savior dying for you. He suffered for about five hours, died and then two days later (friday to sunday is two days) he was resurected. That's not so bad of suffering.
I believe what I believe because I spent many years thinking about it. I hope you did the same thing.

Atheist Jesus? Well, I'm not sure what you mean, but believing in one unprovable thing is the same as the next to me. Actually I think most evidence shows Jesus was actually a myth like earlier (and later) religions and beliefs.

I wouldn't die for him cuz he didnt do squat for me! He was a cool guy, yeah, but he wasn't the son of god. He was just a remarkable person.
I believe in what i believe because i think that that is close enough.

I as an athiest, believe what I beleive because my beliefs aren't full of self contradictions. They all make sense. Unlike the religions which contadict themselves and the other religions.

I was going to explain you, but since this question has been asked plenty of times and since Christians have a weird vision of what atheists are (as if we had no moral), I'm not going to explain you anything. If you're happy the way you are, I'm glad for you. But please, stop preaching, it's useless and annoying, and an insult to my logic.
