Well, because God created us - not "accident"! It didn't make us.
And when He does soemthing, He does a pretty darn good job of it - far beyond how we could do it ourselves!
He made men and women to be vitally attractive to one another, because He wants us to learn how to become a parent just like He is - that through these trials etc., we may gradually learn how to become more like Him.
If you read the Biblical account it will tell you at the beginning, God did not want man to be alone.
He made a "helpmeet" for Adam and then "Blessed them".
He wanted it to be Special between Man and woman ... and so it is ... and just as well, we all have different opinions of what that specialness can be - or we'd all be arguing over the same partner!
It also needed to be powerfully special and inviting because He knew just how hard the trials were going to be here, and He loved us enough to make something very special and nice that would be absolutely integral to our very being and existence.
