It's the state of mind that has to be born again. Sin corrupts the mind and separates people far away from God. When Jesus said that you must be born again, He meant having a renewed mind.
And one thing that you've gotta know is that God always does it right the first time. When a child is born they are sinless. That's why children represent innocence. A child doesn't just grow up and decide to do wrong, the influences in our lives get us to do things that we get accustomed to doing that separate us from God. That is why sinners have to be born again.

We are not all Children of God. We Are not heard or seen by God with out the Blood of Jesus, God does not hear Sinners this is why Jesus is the Mediator till we receive the Holy Spirit and are a New Person.

The re-born thing is highly misunderstood.
We don't ALL have to be re-born.
God's purpose was for man to live on a paradise earth forever.
Adam blew it.
To rectify matters, God decided to make a "new creation", something he never intended originally..
Galations 6:15
That means he chose a small group to leave earth and work with Jesus, in heaven.
Well now........
Born to live forever on earth, but chosen to be part of a new heavenly class?
Poetically, one could say they were re-born.

We are not all God's children......Romans 5:19
says for as by one man's sin, many were made sinners......
We are born in sin as the psalmist said and shapen in iniquity.
Our first birth is a sinful birth so we need to be born again.......Jesus said it himself in John chapter 3 except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.....and except a man be born of the water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Because God created us with free choice. We are born of the flesh, and then we have to make a conscious choice to follow God (capital G). In making a choice to accept Christ of our free will, being baptized and fully immersed for the forgiveness of sin, we are being born again. God wants us to choose to follow him and his law. He doesn't force us. We can choose salvation or we can choose an eternity (forever) of being shut away from God.

The definition ( children of God ) is not proper in first place , we are almighty God's creatures, and his representatives to develop good life on earth . we have abused our representation in every aspect including calling ourselves as children of God while we don't deserve this honor.

You mean born-again?
If you have tasted the Holy Spirit... you know what it meant to be born again...
"I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Adam messed-up his Spirit when he changed God's. He went from being spiritually connected to the ALMIGHTY GOD----to being Spiritually connected to satan. Adam passed that messed-up Spirit to every-body else that came from him (us). YOU are a Spirit, YOU have a SOUL, and YOU live in a Body. You have to get that Spirit RE-CREATED to make HEAVEN.
