Why do you think that life needs a purpose? Maybe it is what it is, no reason required. That's what I think. That when people go looking for the purpose of life they tend to find what they want as opposed to what is. I mean where did you stop wondering? According to what you said you could keep going. Like, what is the purpose of God? Why does God exist? Is God required to exist? Did you just accept what ever answer just worked for you? Its OK lots of people do that. I'm not even sure it’s possible to do anything else, but that.
The problem is that just because what you found works for you it does not make it the truth. People go on this search all the time and find different things. So I ask before you accept the belief system that you have chosen, please take a look at why you chose it. Is it because it’s convenient, everyone else that you interact with is also part of that system? Or, could it be the opposite, you are just looking for something different? Did you look at all of the other alternatives and see if they work for you? Did you ever think its all in your head and that you could be wrong. I also looked for the meaning of life and I found nothing, life has no all encompassing meaning. It is what it is. Was that a problem for me? No. That means to me that life is what I make of it. It’s good if I make it that way. If it sucks, it’s up to me to change it. No blaming, or having to give credit to someone else, real or imagined.
I will not question what you have found, but I ask that you make a real attempt, not one that pleases someone else. Is this important? Yes! Look at the world. People believe a great many things that they say is the truth. Because they think it’s the truth they try to impose that belief on others, whether they want it or not. This imposition causes a lot of pain in this world. I just hope they took the time to look at what they believe and compare it to the alternatives. I am afraid that most of the time they do not. Please don’t be one of them. Good luck. No God, no problem.

This question usually leads people to religion. I am not a religous person, but I have thought about this subject numerous time. The more you experience life and observe all things around you, you will formulate your own opinion. Each of us will have an opinion, and I would be careful of those who say they have the answer. In my opinion , I believe the life on Earth is a fluke. We have no purpose here beyond living out our lives. This may sound harsh but, think about it. How the universe was created, the chemical and environmental balances needed to create life. There was no higher power, beyond events so far in the past, we have to guess at what really happened. I personally as well as you have a purpose. That is defined by your imediate surroundings. Believing in GOD is very noble, and I support that decision. But I can not go through life with blinders. Religion gives you those blinders. I am not trying to discourage any believers, but if my parents told me the 1+1 = 3 and if you believe any different then you go to hell. I have a hard time with that. Religion tells me what to believe. Hope this helped

Yes I did wonder my purpose here in my late teens and early 20's. I went on a search to try to understand Who I am and Why I am here. I read so many books on spirituality and religions for 17 years.
I now know why I am here and what my purpose is. It is to journey back to my True Self, my True Essence, back to God. The purpose of life is to remember who we truly are. We are much more than just this physical body we reside in. The purpose of life is to experience what is beyond our five senses.
I am very glad to have finally figured it out and no more wondering.

Well that's a very broad question unless you are "Saved" I find it hard to believe that a being of such great power as God would have the same emotions as man That's why its called theology not factology. I believe that there is a greater power than ourselves in this universe. Purpose to exist and see the world to experience ever thing you can.

What is the purpose of life?
Have you ever thought there must be something more to life than just living day to day?
There is—much more. Your life has a divine purpose.
God, your Heavenly Father, has prepared a marvelous plan for your happiness. When you realize that God has a plan for you, it is easier to understand why you are on this earth. God wants all of His children to progress and become more like Him. This time on Earth provides opportunities for you to grow and progress. Coming here allows you to:
Receive a physical body.
Exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil.
Learn and gain experience that will help you become more like your Heavenly Father.
By following our Heavenly Father’s plan, you—like all of His children—can someday return to live with Him and with your loved ones. You can have greater peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come.

My opinion would differ in that, for now, I do not believe in the greater beyond. At the moment its simple we are born we breed and we die much the same for all biological creatures, the difference is we are intelligent and make choices on how we live, what we believe and how we feel about things....Live a good life, be kind to others and be happy :-)

No. The purpose of life is not ro follow God. Most people do it for themselves or without noticing.
The meaning of life is to make others happy and/or keep them alive. If you can cause great happiness, then you have fulfilled life.

My view on the point of my existence is to shrink discomfort, at the same time as maximizing effective thoughts. i in my opinion accomplish this by skill of observing relaxing media, or by skill of learning a distinct difficulty that i have not appeared at till now.
