The Holy Spirit is an endowment all do not have, because all do not seek it, in the case of the Priests & Reverands they are better off ,they think if they are the only one who claimes to talk to God. Then they can Doctate what they say God Said. The Truth is be Baptised with the Holy Spirit and ypou will be guided By Gods Spirit.

The big problem with the usage of images as aids for worship is that there is a fine line between using it as an aid, and worshipping it as an idol. Consider the brazen serpent in the wilderness. It was initially used as an aid in the prevention of dying from the bite of the fiery asps. But later, the children of Israel burned incense before it (ref. 2 Kings 18:4). Today I see candles and incense being burned before these "statuary aids". Now what will happen if one of these statues in some way bleed? Do they say, "Oh dear, moisture has rusted the internal steel reinforcement and stained our statue." Or do they call it a miracle and burn incense to it? Today we see many Catholics flocking to places of miracles or "divine manifestations" whether it be a wall stain of the blessed virgin, or a burned cheese sandwich sold on eBay. That fine line has been crossed too many times. It starts innocently enough, but it opens the door for great error.

Here is my take on images, icons, jewelry and the like. When a father/husband has gone to war, we carry and display reminders such as bracelets and photographs. We use these things aids to remember them. However, it produces a longing, because you cannot touch, hug, or lovingly converse with them, for they are away. When they are home, there is really no such need for such aids, because he is in the back playing and laughing with the kids. If you need a hug or a word, just call.
The NEED for images and icons only proves that the Father is not home. Alive? Yes. But absent in a personal way. Faith without the need for crosses, jewelry, beads, icons, pictures, or statues proves that the Father is home and interacting in a real and personal way with their beloved.

I don't know. I'm a Christian and I don't understand much about Catholicism. I don't know why they kneel before statues. I don't know why they place Mary so high . My bible says that Mary should be blessed among women, not blessed ABOVE women. But it always seems to me like she is the intercessor for most everything they do. When in Christianity all we count on is The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Many Catholics do not follow what is in the bible, they follow the pope. Pope Jon Paul the 2nd even said that anyone who is a good person will go to heaven(Around 92 in a press release). That is clearly against the bible, and sometimes is not taken literally in the Catholic Church.

by the time you get this, I'm sure many will have told you to read John 16:7-14. He is here...invite Him in!! Besides, if you waste your time being angry with the misunderstandings and goofy behaviors of people, you will be too distracted to listen to the One Who is calling you now. Don't let yourself be distracted. Your questions are good; you are seeking the truth. Keep Seeking; you will find it. Ask: the truth will be given. Knock on God's door, He will answer you. You have found the beginning of the road to eternity!!! Enjoy!!! It won't be easy, but it will be worth everything!!!

the catholic bible has more books than other christian bibles. marthin luther in i think 1510 or so deleted books that went against his belief system. he deleted verses from certain books aswell. ontop of that he changed words in the book of romans that would twist the truth to what he wanted it to be. christians owe the bible to god and to its protector the catholic church who preserved it in the early persecutions of the christian faith( catholics are also christian). so in the name of christianity be happy for your fellow brothers and sisters in jesus for he is truely manifest in the catholic followers hearts aswell. we accept him in a different fashion that you may not agree with or deem to be right but that is for god to decide and your judgement should be reseved to yourself for that is the christian thing to do. kneeling is a form of respect if we believe these people to be in heaven then they are holy and maybe can intercede, we don't think the image or the intercessor will provide our request because we know all provisions are possible only through god. why when you guys have a problem do you run to your pastor and not to god for the answer, why do when someone is sick do you ask for prayer chains.....i'm not putting you down but asking for other peoples prayer is also a form of intercession, we seek it from people we believe to be holy enough to get to heaven and are already blessed with being saved. not all of us will be saved you can pick various chapters to negate what i say but in all truth you need to put the whole book into perspective as a whole. picking composites can distort the truth. that is why there are over 38,000 protestant religions in america. most of these are less than 100 years old and when the new pastor comes along it possibly add more to this and most churches view things differently. the catholic church predates all other protestant faiths. i am aware my grammar and structure may not be perfect in this reply please don't be offended. i bless and pray for you all. have a nice day and continue on your walk with christ.

Just because the Holy Spirit is our guide does not mean that all will follow the guide. It is up to them

Acts 2:28

says that it is a Gift from God, and if you are Baptized in Jesus Christ Name, you will receive the Holy Ghost....

Note In Jesus Christ name.........There is no other name in heaven then to be saved under.

Because the Priests are leading them into the wrong direction!!

They are still believing that they need to be beautified and all other sorts of things, when all you need to be, is Saved...

Repent, and be baptised, and you too will be a Saint!! Nothing else is needed... Look it up in the Bible...(Its in thiers too :)

They make me laugh, then, cry, as I see them being led astray...oh the crimes against humanity....

Remember, the more idols you have in a church, the less FAITH you have, because you are looking to the idols as your symbols, and not focusing on our LORD, in the Spiritual sense..

I wish you well..

Jesse

Because of being deceived by the Pope and the rest of his preachers from way back in the early centuries after the death of Christ.
