There is good bacteria and bad bacteria. All food has good bacteria. If the sushi is prepared correctly the bacteria will not turn fowl, unless it has been at an unsafe temperature for an extended period of time.

If the sushi is prepared correctly then you have nothing to worry about it is cheap sushi and old sushi that you need to worry about
you get what you pay for so dont buy the cheap sushi and if it has been sitting around then run the other way you want it FRESH

sushi mostly has "good" bacteria...the healty ones...i would know..I cook sushi..lol i mean Make sushi.
